Redscale Summer

Its officially Summer and anyone who lives in SF knows that pretty much means nothing (at least until late august). So I figured I’d just fake the summer heat by shooting some red scale film. I usually shy away from films that produce warm tones but this stuff is different. The red rarely look muddy and flat (like cross processed Velvia 100) and can be shot anywhere between ISO 50-200. Theres no Instagram filter for this shit so stop slouching on your phone and shoot some real film before you get digital cancer.

I’m going to fight the next person who asks me if I  photoshopped this picture. Its a double exposure and I did it by mistake so check yourself.

Enjoy the summer.
