Every year I treat myself to a birthday-camera-present for myself. This year it was the Lomography La Sardina. I took it out for a sunday funday/bay 2 breakers party to get weird with some friends. To me personally, one of the most important parts of a toy camera is to be able to OUI (Operate Under the Influence), so naturally I had to put myself to the test to see how this bad larry holds up…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Despite the awkward size and the overwhelming power of the flash (poor doggy) most of La Sardina photos came out with crisp focus and on point exposure even when my personal vision was doubled. The film I shot is Kodak E100g (cross processed) because I love the way a flash looks with this film. It gives off kind of an “underwater” feel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’ll definitely be taking La Sardina out more often come this summer. Its one of the cooler looking cameras I’ve used from Lomography and chicks dig cool cameras (probably).
